Recreation and culture take the forms of an Ice Arena, a Fitness Centre, The Knights of Columbus Park, organized aerobics and exercise, Music Teachers, a Museum, Heritage Sites of the province/village and many, many organizations.

The Dysart and District Recreation Board is the umbrella organization for many of the clubs in the village. The board coordinates an annual family day, distributes provincial grants and assists in the operation of some of the facilities and programs offered from the provincial level.

The Fitness Centre offers to its members the facilities of the fitness room in the Community Center. There is also a group that is active in aerobics and they also use the facility and community center for their pursuits.

Summer time gives anyone interested the opportunity to be part of the local softball ”Bar Team”. They are part of a league that has fun with this sport.

We have a large recreational Badminton Club. They meet twice weekly throughout the winter months at the Community Centre. All ages are welcome.
